Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Management:Directs and coordinates housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Standard Setting and Implementation:Develops and enforces housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Coordination and Communication:Works with other departments, such as maintenance, to ensure seamless guest services and address any issues.
- Budget and Inventory Management:Manages the housekeeping budget, orders supplies, and maintains inventory levels.
- Inspections and Quality Control:Conducts regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
- Guest Service:Responds to guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Safety and Security:Develops and implements safety and security protocols for the housekeeping department and the facility.
- Administrative Tasks:May be responsible for preparing reports, managing schedules, and handling other administrative tasks related to housekeeping operations.
