Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman (Real Estate Projects)Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate developments. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to produce high-quality drawings that meet regulatory standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D/3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.
- Develop and modify architectural drawings for residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Convert concept sketches and design ideas into technical drawings.
- Prepare site layout plans, unit layouts, as-built drawings, and working drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project managers.
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and real estate regulations.
- Maintain drawing records and revision logs.
- Assist in preparing presentations and marketing layout plans if required.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and update drawings accordingly.
- Support documentation for authority approvals and permits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in drafting for real estate or construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Knowledge of building standards and construction detailing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real estate developers or construction companies.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D visualization tools.
- Knowledge of local municipality approval processes.
- Basic understanding of MEP drawings.
Working Conditions
