Job Title: Jr. Quality Engineer

Job Summary
The Jr. Quality Engineer – Quality & Documentation is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards. The role ensures effective document control, supports internal and external audits, drives corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and works closely with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company requirements.
- Prepare, review, update, and control quality documents including SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), Quality Manuals, Forms, Formats, and Policies.
- Ensure proper document version control, approval workflows, distribution, and archival as per document control procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits and support external certification, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Track audit observations and ensure timely closure through effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Monitor non-conformities and ensure implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality objectives and QMS effectiveness.
- Coordinate Management Review Meetings (MRM) and prepare reports, presentations, and action trackers.
- Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and applicable statutory and customer requirements.
- Support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Conduct awareness sessions and training programs on QMS procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain records of calibration, inspection reports, audit reports, CAPA, and other quality documents.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure timely submission of quality reports and documentation to management and customers when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related Engineering discipline.
- Certification in ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (preferred).
- Knowledge of quality management principles and documentation systems.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, QMS Documentation, or Quality Engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in ISO 9001 implementation and documentation.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
