1. Job Description: Plant Maintenance cum Electrical Manager
Position Overview: As a Plant Maintenance Assistant Manager - Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of various electrical systems and equipment in the plant. Your role will involve supervising a team of technicians and coordinating maintenance activities related to EOT Cranes, power presses, hydraulic presses, shearing machines, cold forming machines, Goliath cranes, CNC drill machines, oxyfuel cutting machines, beam straightening machines, SAW welding machines, LT power systems, DG power plants, 33 KV HT line VCBs, and transformers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of electrical maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal utilization of resources.
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of EOT Cranes up to 50 Tons, power presses up to 150 Tons, hydraulic presses up to 500 Tons, shearing machines with hydraulics up to 20mm thickness, cold forming machines, Goliath cranes with a capacity of 30 Tons, CNC drill machines, oxyfuel cutting machines, beam straightening machines for 50mm thickness, SAW welding machines for large poles, LT power systems, DG power plants, 33 KV HT line VCBs, and transformers.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities, including production scheduling, procurement of spare parts, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and standards to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance overall plant performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition and performance of electrical systems and equipment, and develop action plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repairs, maintenance, or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, testing results, and equipment history.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical maintenance and ensure their implementation in the plant.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in plant maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems and equipment, including experience with EOT Cranes, power presses, hydraulic presses, shearing machines, cold forming machines, Goliath cranes, CNC drill machines, oxyfuel cutting machines, beam straightening machines, SAW welding machines, LT power systems, DG power plants, 33 KV HT line VCBs, and transformers.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively lead a team and manage maintenance operations.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, electrical codes, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and systems for work order management and asset tracking.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose complex electrical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to plan and execute maintenance activities within budget and time constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders at various levels.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to electrical engineering or maintenance are preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
