About the Role
QR Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SQL Data Analyst to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher with strong SQL and Excel skills to start a career in data analytics, working on data comparison, validation, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to compare and validate data across tables/systems
- Identify data mismatches, duplicates, and inconsistencies
- Use Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for data checking, analysis, and reporting
- Support the team in understanding business requirements related to data
- Prepare simple reports and summaries of findings
- Communicate data issues and observations clearly with team members
- Assist with ad hoc data requests and day-to-day data quality checks
- Learn and follow company data standards and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to good knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, basic subqueries)
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Commerce, or a related field (final-year students may also apply)
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL/Excel/Data Analytics certifications or coursework
- Academic projects or internships involving data work
- Basic knowledge of Power BI/Tableau
