- Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.
- Supervise loading, unloading, storage, transfer, batching, and feeding of powder materials through silos.
- Monitor silo levels, material flow, weighing/batching systems, feeders, rotary valves, screw conveyors, and pneumatic conveying systems.
- Ensure proper operation of tanker unloading and powder transfer systems.
- Monitor compressed-air pressure, conveying parameters, filters, blowers/compressors, and associated equipment.
- Ensure smooth silo discharge and prevent choking, bridging, rat-holing, overfilling, and material blockage.
- Verify correct material, quantity, batch, and silo before transfer to production.
- Maintain proper material identification and traceability.
- Monitor production output, yield, consumption, wastage, and downtime.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with QC/QA, Stores, Planning, and Dispatch to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Ensure production records, silo inventory, batch sheets, logbooks, and shift reports are completed accurately.
- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions in coordination with the Production Manager and Quality team.
- Monitor housekeeping and ensure dust-free and clean working conditions around silo and conveying areas.
- Ensure operators follow SOPs, work instructions, PPE requirements, and safety procedures.
- Conduct shift meetings, allocate manpower, and train operators on equipment and process operation.
- Investigate production losses, material variance, equipment failures, and recurring process problems using RCA/5-Why.
- Implement productivity, yield improvement, energy-saving, and wastage-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communicate pending jobs, equipment issues, material status, and safety concerns to the next shift.
- Qualification-Diploma / Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
