Duties
1. Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
2. Conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests to formulate accurate diagnoses.
3. Develop and implement effective treatment plans, considering patient conditions and medical guidelines.
4. Respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency teams.
5. Work closely with healthcare teams, specialists, and support staff to ensure integrated patient care.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, recording patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.
7. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
8. Demonstrate strong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
9. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
10. Training and experience in handling medical emergencies and providing immediate care.
11. Ability to provide guidance and supervision to junior medical staff, interns, and other medical staff
12. Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying informed about medical advancements, and attending relevant training.
13. Ensure thorough record keeping protecting the welfare of the staff by promoting:
(High standards of clinical care, Continuity of care, Communication and dissemination of information between members of the Health Centre team, An accurate account of treatment and care, the identification of risks and detection of problems and Confidentiality)
14. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget for the Health Centre
15. Ensuring health and safety in the workplace including management of medical waste by adhering to universal precautions
16. Communicate with the Health Centre staff on the current medical development and procedures that may affect the health and wellness of staff and the procedures of the health services programme
17. Manage the vaccination programme for the staff
18. Conduct or recommend health related professional development sessions for staff members
19. Staying current on communicable/seasonal ailments and taking proactive steps to protect the organization / hospital
20. Responsible for the Health Centre staff in terms of their attendance, leave, discipline and performance management
21. Will sign and issue attendance and discharge certificates when required by the patients.
22. Will be in-charge of the Ambulance Van of the Hospital and for the regulation of its movements.
23. Will function under the supervisory care of the Medical Superintendent so far as patient care is concerned.
24. Will see that the Drugs, instruments, Hospital Necessaries, Registers, Glasswares required by the Institute are well planned and get them to stock well in advance on the recommendations of the Drugs Committee.
25. Should be the resident authority to supervise the satisfactory patient care and such other matters after working hours.
26. Will attend to such other duties as may be entrusted to her by the Medical Superintendent or the Director from time to time.
27. Along with Medical Superintendent will take ward rounds once a day and take necessary steps to improve patient care services.
28. Supervising patients visiting the hospital to seek treatment as in-patients and out-patients and ensuring a hassle-free medical care
29. Responding to emergencies and assisting consultants in providing life support
30. Performing medical examinations and diagnosis
31. Studying and modifying patients’ diets regularly based on how the patient is responding to the already prescribed medication and treatment
32. Supervising the hospital
33. Working with other RMO to provide around-the-clock services to patients
34. Assessing urgent admissions as required when the consultant on duty is not immediately available
35. Attending casualty calls
36. Performing daily ward rounds
37. Signing claims and reimbursement documents
38. Supervising and mentoring nurses, Group D employees, and interns in the hospital
39. Recruiting junior doctors, nurses, and visiting doctors as and when required
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
