HVAC Sales Costing Engineer (Back Office)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Costing Engineer to support our sales team by preparing accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Central HVAC Plants, Chillers, AHUs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and VRF/VRV systems, along with experience in estimation, tendering, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and costing sheets for HVAC projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for pricing, technical data, and quotations.
- Support sales teams with techno-commercial proposals and bid submissions.
- Conduct vendor comparison, price analysis, and cost optimization.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, and tender documentation.
- Maintain costing databases and historical project records.
- Collaborate with sales, design, procurement, and engineering teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Central HVAC Plants and VRF/VRV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and tender documents.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and costing analysis.
- Understanding of HVAC design and project costing principles.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred
- Experience with HVAC software such as HAP, Carrier, etc.
- Exposure to tendering, contracts, and commercial documentation.
- Familiarity with leading HVAC brands such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Carrier, and similar OEMs.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
