About the Opportunity
We are hiring on behalf of a leading French multinational automotive technology company that is driving innovation in next-generation mobility, connected vehicles, and automotive software solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Software Test Lead who can lead end-to-end software validation activities, define robust testing strategies, and ensure high-quality software delivery for automotive projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and align the Software Test Plan with overall project strategy.
- Support the creation of Master Test Plans and test strategies.
- Ensure end-to-end test feasibility, planning, and execution.
- Drive compliance with project test processes and quality standards.
- Analyze requirements and validate testability.
- Plan and manage test resources, including teams and test environments.
- Support test environment design, setup, and maintenance.
- Review and approve test specifications and software test reports.
- Monitor, track, and report test KPIs and project status.
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project leadership.
- Ensure quality and completeness of test deliverables at every milestone.
- Coordinate activities across multiple test teams when required.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Required Skills & Experience Mandatory
- 8–12 years of experience in Software Testing, preferably within the automotive domain.
- Strong expertise in Test Planning, Test Design, and Test Execution methodologies.
- Good understanding of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and Verification & Validation processes.
- Hands-on experience in Python scripting and Robot Framework for test automation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in test management, effort estimation, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
Preferred
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and modern testing tools.
- Prior experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager.
- Exposure to multi-project environments and cross-functional team coordination.
- Experience working within global automotive development programs.
