We are looking for Program Specialists – Training (Soft Skills Trainers) who are passionate about working with youth and helping them transition successfully from campus to corporate careers.
Role Overview We are looking for Program Specialists – Training (Soft Skills Trainers) who are passionate about working with youth and helping them transition successfully from campus to corporate careers.
The trainer will be responsible for conducting structured training sessions, mentoring students, preparing them for placements, and supporting them throughout the program journey.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills are essential, as the role involves training, counselling, and interacting with diverse student groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver soft skills and employability training to students using the program curriculum (both offline and online modes).
- Travel to partner colleges to conduct training sessions and student engagement activities.
- Mobilize and engage students from Tier 3 and Tier 4 colleges for participation in the youth employability program.
- Assess and screen students through interviews to determine their fit for the program.
- Train students on 21st-century employability skills, including: Communication skills, Interview preparation, Group discussions, Resume/CV writing and Workplace readiness and professional behaviour.
- Conduct pre-placement activities and prepare students for corporate opportunities.
- Provide one-on-one counselling and mentorship to help students transition into formal sector jobs.
- Engage with parents and college administrators to ensure strong program participation and support.
- Maintain student data, training reports, and program trackers. Document success stories, case studies, and program updates.
Role Expectations
Program Specialists will work closely with students and play a critical role in shaping their career readiness and employability skills. The role requires individuals who are energetic trainers, strong communicators, and passionate about working with youth in the development sector.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in student engagement, training, volunteering, or internships is preferred
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Strong public speaking and training abilities
- Comfortable travelling regularly to colleges for conducting training programs
- Ability to work with diverse student groups
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and impact-driven
