JOB TITLE: Quality Manager & Production Head

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Quality Manager & Production Head for our Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturing Unit. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of manufacturing, quality control, process improvement, certifications, documentation, and production management related to Stainless Steel Nuts, Bolts, Screws, Washers, Studs, and other Fasteners.
Experience Required
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturing Industry.
- Experience in handling Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production Planning, and Process Improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing of Stainless Steel Nuts, Bolts, Screws, Washers, Studs, Threaded Rods and Special Fasteners.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management Systems will be preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products.
- Monitor product quality and reduce rejection rates.
- Handle root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with customers regarding quality issues and complaints.
Certifications & Documentation
- Complete knowledge of quality certifications and audits such as:
- ISO 9001
- IATF 16949 (Preferred)
- ISO 14001
- ISO 45001
- CE Certification
- RoHS Compliance
- Material Test Certificates (MTC)
- NABL Laboratory Documentation
- Maintain all certification-related documentation and records.
- Coordinate with auditors and certification agencies.
- Prepare SOPs, Work Instructions, Quality Manuals, and Process Documents.
Production Management
- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Achieve production targets with optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
- Improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
- Reduce production downtime and material wastage.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices.
- Coordinate with maintenance, stores, dispatch, and purchase departments.
Quality Control of Fasteners
- Strong knowledge of:
- Thread Inspection
- Dimensional Inspection
- Go/No-Go Gauges
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Hardness Testing
- Tensile Testing
- Material Composition Verification
- Surface Finish Inspection
- Passivation Process
- Salt Spray Testing
- Ensure all products meet national and international standards.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise production and quality teams.
- Conduct training programs for operators and supervisors.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity on the shop floor.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of production planning and process optimization.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, ERP Software, and Quality Documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidate having experience in Stainless Steel Fasteners Manufacturing Industry will be given preference.
- Candidate should be capable of independently handling Quality Department, Production Department, Audits, Certifications, Customer Requirements, and Process Improvement Projects.
Salary
Salary shall be commensurate with experience, knowledge, and industry standards.

Immediate joining preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
