Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and organized Transport Manager to oversee the transportation operations of our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the institution's fleet, ensuring student and staff safety, coordinating vehicle schedules, and maintaining compliance with transport regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the institution's transport department.
- Plan and coordinate bus routes and transportation schedules.
- Supervise drivers and transport support staff.
- Ensure proper maintenance, servicing, and documentation of all vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle safety, insurance, permits, and statutory compliance.
- Handle transport-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain transport records, fuel consumption, and operational reports.
- Ensure safe and efficient transportation for students and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Diploma/Degree in Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transport or fleet management.
- Experience in educational institutions is preferred.
