Job Title: Billing Person
Responsibilities:
- Customer Billing:
- Generate accurate and timely bills for customers based on their purchases of gold jewelry.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly and match the items sold.
- Price Verification:
- Verify the pricing of gold jewelry items to ensure alignment with the current market rates.
- Update prices in the billing system as needed, reflecting any changes in the cost of gold.
- Transaction Documentation:
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment details.
- Organize and file transaction documents for future reference and auditing.
- Payment Handling:
- Receive and process payments from customers using various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, etc.).
- Issue receipts and ensure accurate reconciliation of daily transactions.
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers in understanding their bills and resolving any billing-related inquiries or discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Sales Coordination:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless integration of sales and billing processes.
- Communicate effectively with sales associates to address any issues related to billing.
- Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with the inventory team to update the billing system with current stock levels.
- Monitor inventory closely to avoid billing errors related to unavailable items.
- Compliance:
- Stay informed about tax regulations and ensure compliance with local tax laws in all billing processes.
- Collaborate with the finance department to adhere to financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Technology Utilization:
- Use point-of-sale (POS) systems or billing software effectively for accurate and efficient billing.
- Provide feedback on system improvements to enhance billing processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in billing, preferably in a retail or jewelry environment.
- Familiarity with billing software and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a billing or cashier role is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
