JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose
To supervise and maintain all electrical systems, equipment, lighting, and electrical installations across Gavins stores, office, and warehouse, ensuring smooth, safe, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical maintenance activities at stores, office, warehouse, and other company premises.
- Ensure all electrical equipment, wiring, panels, DBs, switches, lights, AC power connections, and other installations are functioning properly.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns and resolve issues with minimum downtime.
- Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with electricians, technicians, contractors, and external service providers.
- Monitor and maintain electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
- Check electrical panels, MCBs, ELCBs, earthing, generators, UPS systems, and other electrical equipment regularly.
- Maintain records of electrical repairs, maintenance, breakdowns, and replacement of materials.
- Identify electrical faults and take corrective action promptly.
- Monitor electricity consumption and identify areas where energy can be saved.
- Ensure proper stock and availability of electrical spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Verify material requirements and coordinate with the Admin/Stores department for procurement.
- Supervise electrical work during new store setup, renovation, shifting, and maintenance projects.
- Ensure electricians and contractors follow proper safety procedures while working.
- Coordinate with management during emergency electrical situations.
- Check the quality of electrical work completed by outside vendors and contractors.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned maintenance work.
- Maintain a daily maintenance report and submit updates to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 3–7 years of experience in electrical maintenance and supervision.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, MCB/ELCB, generators, UPS, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to supervise electricians and contractors.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance documentation and MS Excel.

- Minimum electrical breakdown and downtime.
- Timely completion of preventive maintenance.
- Electrical safety compliance.
- Reduction in recurring electrical issues.
- Proper maintenance of electrical records.
- Effective control of maintenance expenses.
- Timely completion of store/warehouse electrical work.
Working Requirements
- Willingness to travel between Gavins stores, office, and warehouse as required.
- Should be available to attend urgent electrical breakdowns when required.
- Must follow company discipline, safety rules, and reporting procedures.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
