Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller – Hospitality to oversee and manage cost control activities across food & beverage, stores, procurement, and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will ensure effective cost management, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal controls while supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operating costs across hospitality operations
- Analyze consumption, wastage, and variances; investigate and report discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and pricing for accuracy
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, kitchen, and finance teams
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports for management
- Ensure adherence to cost control policies, procedures, and budget guidelines
- Support internal and external audits as required
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in cost control within hospitality (hotel, resort, hospital, or large F&B operations)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and procurement processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and hospitality ERP/POS systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
