- Assist the Plant Incharge in day-to-day operations of the pyrolysis plant and coordinate between shifts Oversee and manage production targets, efficiency metrics, and material consumption to ensure optimal plant performance Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment, systems, and plant utilities Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity Manage and coordinate manpower allocation, workforce scheduling, and team performance across production and maintenance teams Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of all operational records, equipment logs, maintenance reports, and plant documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, environmental, health (EHS), and quality standards within the plant Conduct equipment inspections and create preventive maintenance plans to extend equipment lifespan Required Qualifications Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and operations in the pyrolysis or similar process industry (e.g., tyre recycling, plastic recycling, chemical processing) Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment operation, preventive maintenance principles, and troubleshooting methodologies specific to pyrolysis plants Operational Experience: Proven ability in production monitoring, shift management, manpower coordination, and maintenance documentation Background: Strong mechanical maintenance background with experience in rotating equipment, hydraulic systems and process control Required Skills&Competencies Communication: Ability to interact effectively with teams at all levels Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; capability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement solutions Technical Proficiency: Hands-on mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving in industrial environments Documentation: Exceptional organizational and documentation skills; ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports
