Lab Technician – Histopathology
Department : Histopathology
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent
- Valid registration
Experience :Minimum 1 year experience in Histopathology laboratory is mandatory
Salary : Salary based on industry standards and experience
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Receive, label, and process tissue specimens accurately.
- Perform tissue fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining procedures.
- Prepare histopathology slides for microscopic examination.
- Operate and maintain histopathology laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of specimens and reagents.
- Maintain quality control procedures and laboratory documentation.
- Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Assist pathologists during special procedures when required.
- Maintain adequate stock of laboratory consumables and reagents.
- Coordinate with doctors and other departments for timely reporting and specimen handling.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of histopathology laboratory techniques
- Ability to handle laboratory equipment and chemicals safely
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer knowledge
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
