About Position:
Persistent systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive the adoption of our cloud services within the Conglomerate and Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors across India. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these industries, a strong network of executive-level contacts (CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Analytics, etc.), and a proven track record in selling complex cloud-based solutions. What You'll Do:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned sales targets and expand our customer base within the Conglomerate and BFSI industries.

Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers (including C-level executives like CTOs, CDOs, CIOs, Heads of Digital Transformation, and Heads of Analytics) within target accounts.

Leverage existing industry connections and build new strategic relationships to create a robust sales pipeline.

Understand the specific business challenges, technological needs, and regulatory landscape of Conglomerate and BFSI clients.

Articulate the value proposition of [Company Name]'s cloud services (including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, data analytics, AI/ML, security, and industry-specific solutions) and tailor presentations and proposals to meet client requirements.

Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification to negotiation, closing deals, and ensuring successful client onboarding in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools.

Stay abreast of cloud technology trends, competitive landscape, and industry-specific developments relevant to Conglomerates and BFSI

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including pre-sales, solution architects, marketing, and product management, to deliver compelling solutions.

Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Minimum of 7-8 years of overall experience in enterprise technology sales, solution selling, or business development.

Minimum of 3-4 years of direct experience selling cloud-based services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to large enterprise clients.

Demonstrable experience and success selling into the Conglomerate and/or BFSI sectors in India.

Proven network of established relationships with senior technology and business leaders (CTO, CDO, Head of Analytics, IT Directors, etc.) within these target industries.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and the competitive landscape (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, and other relevant players).

Well-versed in the specific cloud services, solutions (e.g., data warehousing, advanced analytics, AI/ML platforms, cybersecurity, compliance solutions), and use cases relevant to the Conglomerate and BFSI industries.

Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, negotiate effectively, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.

Strong business acumen and ability to engage in strategic conversations with senior executives.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Master's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

Willingness and ability to work from one of the specified locations (Mumbai) and travel as required to meet clients.
