Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) to manage master data governance, data quality, and integration processes across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM/MDG), SD business processes, data migration, and master data harmonization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain customer, material, vendor, and pricing master data within SAP environments.
Configure and support SAP MDM/MDG solutions for master data governance and data quality management.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand SD process requirements and master data dependencies.
Support SAP SD processes including:
Sales Order Management
Pricing
Shipping & Delivery
Billing
Customer Master Management
Credit Management
Perform data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and deduplication activities.
Execute data migration and data conversion projects using LSMW, BDC, LTMC, or other migration tools.
Analyze and resolve master data-related issues impacting SD transactions.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams during SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects.
Create functional specifications and support integration with MM, FI, WM, and CRM modules.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and business standards.
Required Skills
SAP MDM / MDG
Strong experience in SAP MDM or SAP MDG.
Expertise in Master Data Governance processes.
Experience with data modeling, workflows, and business rules.
Knowledge of data migration and data quality management.
SAP SD
Strong functional experience in SAP SD.
Hands-on experience with:
Customer Master
Sales Order Processing
Pricing & Condition Techniques
Deliveries & Shipping
Billing & Invoicing
Returns & Credit Management
Understanding of SD integration with MM and FI.
Technical Skills
SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA experience.
Data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC, BODS, Migration Cockpit).
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge preferred.
Experience with IDocs, EDI, and SAP interfaces.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP MDG workflows is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
SAP SD and/or SAP MDG certification preferred.
Experience in global rollout, support, or implementation projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
