Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Technician to join our healthcare team. The Physiotherapy Technician will work alongside licensed physiotherapists to assist in the delivery of rehabilitation services to patients. This role involves conducting patient assessments, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining patient records. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and record relevant medical history.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
- Educate patients about their treatment plans and exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in treatment areas.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with the latest physiotherapy practices.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Relevant certification or degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
