The Head of Operations will lead and manage the overall operational activities of the organization with a strong focus on Study Abroad, International Student Recruitment, and Pathway Programs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in overseas education operations, university partnerships, student counseling processes, compliance management, and team leadership.
This role requires strategic planning, operational excellence, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to streamline processes to ensure high-quality student experiences and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations related to Study Abroad and Pathway Programs.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure smooth coordination between counseling, admissions, visa, compliance, and partner universities.
- Establish SOPs and operational policies for all departments.
Pathway Program Management
- Manage end-to-end international student admission processes.
- Handle pathway program operations for partner institutions and universities.
- Maintain strong relationships with international universities, colleges, and education partners.
- Monitor student application pipelines, enrollment targets, and conversion ratios.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise operations, counseling, and admissions teams.
- Conduct training sessions to improve team performance and industry knowledge.
- Set KPIs and monitor operational productivity.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with international education regulations and partner requirements.
- Supervise visa documentation and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting systems, and student databases.
Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and expansion of study abroad services.
- Collaborate with management on business planning and growth strategies.
- Support marketing and student recruitment campaigns.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary operational contact for university partners and stakeholders.
- Ensure excellent student and parent support throughout the admission journey.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in Study Abroad, International Education, or Pathway Program operations.
- Strong understanding of international admissions, visa processes, and overseas education systems.
- Experience managing teams and operational workflows.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international universities and pathway providers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and student management platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
