Job description:
We are currently hiring for the position of UK Team Lead
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and other accounting activities. Possess strong knowledge of service charge accounting, year-end processes, management accounting, finalization, and CT600
- Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements, reports, and client deliverables
- Develop and implement efficient procedures to streamline accounting processes and improve productivity
- Responsible for overseeing and managing all the UK Processes including at transaction level and attending client calls.
- Addressing client grievances or process issues
- Lead, manage, and mentor the accounting team by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Work with senior management to set and monitor performance goals, and report on key metrics to ensure the team is meeting expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities to support the business objectives.
- Manage and prioritize workload to ensure that deadlines are met, and customer expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements and best practices
- Work with clients to understand their accounting needs, provide advice and support, and ensure that they receive high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure ongoing business and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance by following legal requirements, maintaining data confidentiality, and staying updated with industry and employer requirements.
- Manage team efficiency, attrition and ensure productivity is enhanced.
- Develop and implement client SOPs and ISO Standards
- Handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple client priorities effectively
- Other responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Essential:
- Education: CA Inter / CA / ACCA / Master’s Degree
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience handling UK clients
- Strong command of English communication (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and prior experience in team handling
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Work Timings:
- April to October: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST
- November to March: 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM IST
