We are looking for a highly motivated and professional individual to support the firm's business development and client acquisition initiatives.
Position Overview
The Legal Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building professional relationships, generating leads, conducting business outreach, and supporting the firm's growth initiatives. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong follow-up abilities and confidence in engaging with business owners, founders, directors and corporate decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Conduct daily outreach to business owners, founders, directors, startups and corporate professionals.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, referrals and other professional channels.
- Identify potential opportunities for legal, compliance, taxation and advisory services.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective clients.
Client Communication & Follow-Ups
- Initiate and manage conversations with potential clients.
- Conduct timely and structured follow-ups.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the internal team for further discussions.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the client engagement process.
Lead Management & Reporting
- Maintain daily records of outreach activities and client interactions.
- Track and classify leads as Cold, Warm and Hot.
- Update CRM, Google Sheets, or internal trackers regularly.
- Submit daily and weekly business development reports.
Brand Building & Networking
- Represent MGCO Legal professionally on LinkedIn and other business platforms.
- Participate in networking and relationship-building initiatives.
- Support content-sharing and firm branding activities.
Required Skills
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to build business relationships
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and LinkedIn

Eligibility Criteria Education
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA (Marketing/Business Development) preferred but not mandatory
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, Marketing, Corporate Relations or related fields
- Freshers with excellent communication and networking skills are encouraged to apply

Candidates will be evaluated based on:
- Daily outreach activities completed
- Number of business connections established
- Lead generation performance
- Follow-up consistency
- Meetings scheduled with potential clients
- Quality of lead pipeline maintained
- Contribution towards client acquisition and revenue generation
