Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Consultant Pulmonologist to diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and lung-related conditions. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing pulmonary diseases, and supporting critical care services when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat respiratory disorders such as asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and other lung diseases
- Conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFT), spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures
- Manage patients in OPD, IPD, and ICU settings
- Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy (if trained)
- Provide emergency care for respiratory distress cases
- Collaborate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management and prevention
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: MBBS with MD in Pulmonology / Respiratory Medicine
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Valid medical registration
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient-handling abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in ICU and critical care management
- Hands-on experience in bronchoscopy and ventilator management
- Familiarity with Hospital Management Systems (HMS)
