Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in manufacturing, assembly and maintenance of tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities of tools and dies.
- Assist in inspection of tools and dies as per drawings and specifications.
- Support trial activities and modifications in tools and dies whenever required.
- Maintain records related to tool maintenance, breakdowns and modifications.
- Assist in preparation of tool history cards and maintenance reports
- Coordinate with Production and Quality Departments for tool-related issues.
- Support in identification and procurement of tool room consumables and spares.
- Assist in monitoring tool life and recommend replacement or refurbishment activities.
- Operate measuring instruments and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the Tool Room area.
- Follow safety practices and organizational policies during tool room activities.
- Learn machining operations such as Milling, Grinding, Drilling, EDM and Wire Cut processes.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of drawings and tool-related documents.
- Prepare daily work status reports and maintain activity records.
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure support to all colleagues as and when necessary.
- Complete tasks assigned by seniors and Top Management whenever required.
- Prepare Reports/MIS/Any other requirement as and when necessary as per Reporting Manager.
Education: BE Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 0-2 Years, Should have basic knowledge of Engineering drawing/ AutoCAD/ MS Excel.
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
