Core Responsibilities1. Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
- Conduct detailed inspection of new two-wheelers before delivery
- Check engine performance, brakes, clutch, electricals, lights, horn, tyres, and battery
- Ensure no manufacturing defects or transit damages
2. Vehicle Preparation
- Supervise washing, polishing, and cleaning of vehicles
- Ensure proper installation of accessories (mirrors, guards, etc.)
- Make sure fuel level and basic setup are ready for delivery
3. Quality Control
- Maintain company standards set by Hero MotoCorp
- Ensure zero-defect delivery to improve customer satisfaction
- Follow standard PDI checklists and documentation
4. Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Sales team (for delivery schedules)
- Service technicians (for repairs if issues found)
- Warehouse/store team (vehicle stock readiness)
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain PDI records and checklists
- Report defects or recurring issues to management
- Ensure proper vehicle documentation before delivery
6. Team Handling (if senior role)
- Supervise PDI technicians/helpers
- Assign tasks and monitor performance
- Train staff on inspection procedures
