About the Opportunity
We're building a new Kerala-inspired fast-food brand from the ground up — a fresh, quick-service concept opening in a 6,000–7,000 sq. ft. space on SG Palya, near Christ University. This venture is backed by an investor with a strong track record in the F&B and culinary education space, having backed India's leading Baking and Pastry Academy, which has built a decade-long reputation for artisanship and culinary craft across multiple Bangalore locations and beyond.

The Role
We're looking for a skilled, driven Chef with a strong grounding in Kerala cuisine to join our founding team. The exact title and role within the kitchen hierarchy will be defined together with the Head Chef based on your strengths and experience — this isn't a cookie-cutter position, and neither is the brand.
Experience required: Minimum 3 years in a professional kitchen, with hands-on experience in Kerala cuisine (QSR, fast-casual, or restaurant background preferred)
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on developing a Kerala-inspired menu adapted for a fast-food format
- Help establish kitchen workflows, SOPs, and quality standards from scratch
- Bring authentic recipes, regional techniques, and ideas to a menu built from the ground up
- Manage food prep, cooking, and presentation to consistent quality standards
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and inventory protocols
- Be part of the founding kitchen team as the brand scales post-launch
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant culinary experience, with solid knowledge of Kerala cuisine (curries, fries, snacks, breakfast items like puttu, appam, parotta, etc.)
- Passion for food, experimentation, and building something new
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment (this is a startup kitchen — flexibility matters)
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Genuine excitement about being part of a brand from its earliest days

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
