Define scalable microservice-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Produce solution design documents, integration specifications, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and deployment models.
Define REST API contracts, integration patterns, and event-driven/asynchronous solutions using Kafka where appropriate.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and strategic technology direction.
Collaborate with Solution Engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and implementation activities.
Ensure solutions meet performance, resiliency, security, observability, and operational supportability requirements.
Drive adoption of cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Ensure monitoring, logging, auditability, and operational controls are incorporated into solution designs.
Support engineering teams in implementing automated quality and deployment pipelines.
Incorporate privacy, regulatory, compliance, and control requirements into solution designs.
Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering Managers to shape delivery outcomes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and emerging Solution Designers.
