Job Summary:
Responsible for managing fabrication production operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, cost control, and efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily fabrication production activities
- Monitor welding, cutting, assembly, machining, and finishing operations
- Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Procurement, and Maintenance departments
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Monitor manpower allocation and machine utilization
- Implement safety standards and quality control procedures
- Analyze production data and prepare MIS reports
- Resolve production-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and guide production supervisors and shop-floor teams
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
- Production planning and scheduling expertise
- Leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and safety standards
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
- 5–10 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing operations
- Prior experience in a managerial role preferred
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy engineering, industrial equipment manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or engineering projects
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, lean manufacturing, and process improvement techniques
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
