Job Summary
BMS Overseas is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Visa Filing & Documentation Specialist to manage, review, edit, and process visa applications for clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of visa documentation, application procedures, and immigration processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple applications accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, edit, and verify visa application documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Check client documents for formatting, grammar, consistency, and embassy-specific requirements.
- File visa applications for various countries according to embassy and immigration guidelines.
- Guide clients regarding required documentation, visa procedures, and application timelines.
- Draft and edit supporting documents such as SOPs, cover letters, explanation letters, and other visa-related documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all applications and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa processing centers.
- Track application status and provide regular updates to clients.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws, visa regulations, and company standards.
- Handle client queries related to visa filing, documentation, and application processes.
- Identify documentation gaps and assist clients in obtaining missing or corrected documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred).
- Experience in visa processing, immigration consultancy, documentation, or document editing is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good client-handling and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and online application systems.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of tourist and visitor visa processes.
- Experience with visa portals, embassy systems, and immigration platforms.
- Strong document editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to identify errors and improve document quality.
