As a Travel & Visa Operations Executive, I am responsible for managing end-to-end travel and visa services for domestic and international travelers. My role includes handling holiday packages, flight bookings, hotel reservations, bus and railway ticketing, visa processing, supplier coordination, and online travel portal management. I ensure smooth travel arrangements, timely documentation, and excellent customer service throughout the travel journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete travel operations for domestic and international holiday packages.
- Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellations, and refund processes.
- Coordinate hotel bookings and secure confirmations based on customer requirements and travel plans.
- Process bus and railway ticket reservations through online booking systems and travel portals.
- Manage visa operations, including application processing, documentation verification, appointment scheduling, and application tracking.
- Guide customers on visa requirements, supporting documents, travel insurance, and embassy procedures for various countries.
- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, visa processing centers, and travel partners to ensure timely visa approvals and updates.
- Prepare travel itineraries, tour packages, quotations, vouchers, and other travel-related documents.
- Liaise with suppliers, hotels, airlines, transport providers, and destination management companies (DMCs) for reservations and operational support.
- Operate and manage online travel portals, booking engines, and reservation systems efficiently.
- Monitor booking status and ensure all travel services are confirmed before departure.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling requests while maintaining communication with suppliers and customers.
- Resolve operational issues and customer queries promptly to ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, visa applications, customer profiles, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with sales, finance, and customer support teams to deliver seamless travel services.
- Ensure compliance with travel regulations, visa requirements, company policies, and service standards.
