JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and creative Senior Fashion Designer to join our in-house design team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate is trend-aware, detail-oriented, and has hands-on experience in designing apparel collections from concept to execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design seasonal apparel collections including sketches, mood boards, and tech packs
- Research domestic and international fashion trends, color palettes, and fabric innovations
- Collaborate with production, sourcing, and merchandising teams
- Prepare detailed flat sketches and design specifications
- Manage and mentor junior design team members
- Coordinate with fabric vendors for material selection and sampling
- Ensure collections are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Present designs and concepts to management and buyers
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Fashion Design
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in apparel/fashion design
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, embroidery and handwork techniques.
- Awareness of current Indian and global fashion trends
- Excellent sketching, visualization, and presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in ethnic wear, western wear, or fusion collections
- Knowledge of sustainable fabric sourcing
- Prior experience in export houses or established fashion brands
