Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Kerala units including Operators, Helpers, Office Staff, and Sales Personnel.
- Source candidates through local networks, job portals, consultants, and referrals.
- Coordinate interviews with Unit Heads and Department Managers.
- Ensure timely manpower availability to avoid production or operational delays.
- Maintain recruitment tracker and provide periodic updates to management.
- Manage onboarding, documentation, and induction of new employees.
2. Payroll & Attendance Administration
- Maintain accurate attendance records, overtime details, and leave records for all Kerala unit employees.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and verification before submission to the accounts/payroll team.
- Ensure proper documentation for salary processing, statutory deductions, and employee records.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
3. HR & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all HR statutory requirements applicable to Kerala units.
- Maintain proper documentation related to PF, ESI, Labour records, and other statutory registers.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government departments whenever required.
- Maintain employee records, HR registers, and compliance documentation.
4. Government & Legal Coordination
- Handle matters related to government authorities, labour departments, and local bodies.
- Coordinate and follow up on legal matters, court-related issues, and statutory cases related to company operations.
- Liaise with local administrative bodies to ensure smooth operational compliance.
5. Employee Accommodation Management
- Arrange accommodation facilities for operators and helpers.
- Ensure rooms are properly maintained, clean, and suitable for staff stay.
- Maintain occupancy records and coordinate any maintenance or facility issues.
6. Transport & Vehicle Administration
- Monitor drivers’ duty schedules and assignments.
- Maintain records for company vehicle usage, fuel, service schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure vehicles comply with all required checklists, insurance, and permits.
7. Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative coordination for both Unit 1 and Unit 2.
- Maintain documentation related to HR, administration, and compliance activities.
- Support management in maintaining discipline, attendance control, and employee relations.
8. Management & External Support
- Provide operational and coordination support to Team members for external work assignments when required.
- Assist in liaison activities with vendors, authorities, and external stakeholders.
9. Reporting
- Submit periodic HR, Admin & Safety reports to Unit Head and HR Manager.
Qualification & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Commerce / Business Administration.
· 2–5 years of experience in recruitment and payroll, preferably in manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of PF, ESI, and labor laws.
· Experience in HRMIS and payroll software.
· Good communication and negotiation skills.
