Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in Oracle APEX, SQL, and related technologies.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining forms and reports using Oracle
Application Express (APEX). The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality
solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement forms and reports using Oracle APEX.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end
technologies.
- Utilize regular expressions to validate and manipulate data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing applications.
- Document code and create technical documentation for applications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Oracle APEX and related
technologies.
Requirements:
- BTech/ MCA or equivalent.
- 2-6 years of professional experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in developing web applications using Oracle APEX.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of regular expressions and their application in data validation and
manipulation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle APEX plugins and custom components.
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX security best practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with Oracle APEX reporting and dashboards.
- Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and reporting.
- Familiarity with Blitz (Oracle APEX performance testing tool).
