Our esteemed company is seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to oversee all aspects of our engineering division. The Chief Engineer will be a critical leadership role, responsible for making decisions that directly influence our engineering projects and overall business trajectory. - Develop, implement, and monitor all systems, procedures, and maintenance for engineering projects.
- Direct and lead the overall engineering technical team, ensuring optimal performance, and managing project milestones from start to finish.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance while working closely with other department leaders to align on company goals and strategies.
- Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, processes, and performances conform to set standards and regulations.
- In collaboration with other departmental heads, establish the department's budgets and timelines. Monitor and ensure that allocated funds are used in the most cost-effective and efficient ways.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. A Master's degree or higher level of education in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven record of managing large engineering teams.
- Considerable experience in overseeing engineering functions, ideally with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Deep understanding and proficiency in the technical and business aspects of engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members and stakeholders effectively.
