Role Summary
The Software Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading strategic sales initiatives, and managing key client relationships for premium 3D design, visualization, and engineering software solutions.
This role requires a strong consultative sales approach, ownership of the complete sales lifecycle, and the ability to engage with enterprise-level stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and design ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across target industries.
- Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to solution positioning, product demonstrations, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, SMBs, and institutional partners.
- Lead solution-based selling of 3D design and engineering software (KeyShot, Rhino, etc.).
- Develop and execute sales strategies, account plans, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Manage and track sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics through CRM tools.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and post-sales engagement.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members (if applicable)
Required Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in software sales / B2B sales, preferably in CAD/CAM/CAE or 3D design solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
- Hands-on experience in selling solutions such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk products, Rhino, KeyShot, ZBrush, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the engineering/design ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage with decision-makers and CXOs.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
- Self-driven, strategic thinker, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
