Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Offset Press Cutting Operator to operate and maintain paper/plastic cutting machines in our offset printing facility. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets while ensuring quality, accuracy, and minimum wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate paper and board cutting machines for offset printing production.
- Set machine parameters according to job specifications and cutting plans.
- Read and understand production job cards and cutting layouts.
- Ensure accurate cutting dimensions and maintain quality standards.
- Monitor production output and achieve daily production targets.
- Reduce material wastage through efficient machine operation.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records and report issues immediately.
- Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and planning teams.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Cutting Operator in an offset printing / packaging industry.
- Experience handling paper board, duplex board, art board, or similar materials.
- Knowledge of cutting machine setup, blade handling, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Basic understanding of production planning and quality control.
- ITI / Diploma / PUC / SSLC (preferred).
