We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Associate to join our property. Unlike traditional housekeeping roles, this position is dynamic and versatile, requiring attention to detail both inside the hotel and on the exterior grounds.
The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a spotless environment, ensuring that our guests experience cleanliness and comfort from the moment they drive onto the property until they enter their rooms.
Key Responsibilities1. Indoor Housekeeping (Guest Rooms & Public Areas)
- Guest Rooms: Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Public Areas: Maintain cleanliness in the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and public restrooms.
- Restocking: Ensure all rooms and carts are stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
- Laundry: Assist with sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel linens and uniforms as needed.
- Lost & Found: Log and store items left behind by guests according to hotel policy.
2. Outdoor & Grounds Maintenance
- Curb Appeal: Sweep and clear debris from the hotel entrance, walkways, driveways, and parking lot to ensure a welcoming first impression.
- Trash Removal: Empty and sanitize outdoor trash receptacles and ash urns regularly.
- Exterior Cleaning: Clean exterior glass, windows, and entry doors. Remove cobwebs and dust from outdoor light fixtures and signage.
- Amenities: Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, patio, or outdoor seating areas (wiping down furniture, organizing chairs).
- Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal requirements, such as clearing leaves in autumn or salting walkways during winter (if applicable).
3. General Duties
- Inspection: Report any maintenance issues (burnt-out bulbs, leaking faucets, broken pavement) to the maintenance department immediately.
- Guest Service: Respond promptly and politely to guest requests for extra supplies or assistance.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines regarding the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.
