Deputy Chief Manager – HR Digital TransformationThe Incumbent will play a strategic, consultative, and operational role in driving HR technology excellence, with a strong focus on Workday HCM Application Management Services (AMS) and continuous system optimization. The role requires deep functional expertise in HR processes, hands-on Workday HCM experience, and the ability to act as an internal HRIT consultant—advising HR and business stakeholders on system capabilities, best practices, process improvements, and scalable solutions.
The incumbent will serve as the single point of accountability for Workday AMS, manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensure Workday remains a stable, compliant, and future-ready HR platform aligned with business goals.

QUALIFICATION:
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification
Minimum 10+ years of overall HR experience, Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in HCM
Strong understanding of end-to-end HR functional processes
EXPERIENCE:
Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, governance, and cross‑functional execution
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills with high integrity and ownership

HCM AMS Ownership & Support
Own and govern Application Management Services (AMS) for Workday HCM
Act as the primary escalation point for Workday production issues and support queries
Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and support performance with AMS partners
Prioritize, manage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and enhancements
Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and business continuity
HCM Configuration & Enhancements
Lead functional requirement gathering from HR and business stakeholders
Translate requirements into Workday configurations and enhancements
Review and validate solution designs proposed by vendors
Monitor Workday releases and evaluate adoption of new features
Release Management
Lead end‑to‑end Workday release management, including bi‑annual releases, impact assessment, configuration, testing, and production deployment
Drive feature prioritization, opt‑in/opt‑out decisions, and ensure system stability across HCM, Payroll, and integrations
Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, and vendors to ensure risk‑free releases, compliance, and high user adoption
Own release communications, governance, and continuous optimization post‑deployment
Stakeholder & Vendor Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal HR, IT, Finance, and business teams
Serve as the interface between Piramal and Workday AMS / implementation partners
Ensure alignment between business priorities and vendor delivery
Drive accountability, quality, and timely delivery from external partners
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
Process Improvement & Continuous Optimization
Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardization
Drive continuous improvement of HR processes through HRMS and HR Tech
Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories
Support future HR digital transformation initiatives and roadmap execution
