Job Title: HR Generalist – HR Operations & Employee Relations (Night Shift)
Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office / Hybrid – as applicable)
Shift: US Shift | 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM IST
Working Days: 5 Days (Alternate Saturdays Off)
Experience Required: 5–15 Years
Salary Budget: ₹6–12 LPA
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to lead end-to-end HR operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in employee relations, engagement, payroll, compliance, and labour laws while acting as a trusted HR partner to employees and business leadership.
This role requires someone who can independently manage HR processes, maintain compliance, and create a positive employee experience while supporting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete employee lifecycle including:
- Onboarding
- Employee engagement
- Employee relations
- Performance support
- Exit management
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention programs
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and employee counseling
- Ensure compliance with:
- Indian Labour Laws
- Company HR Policies
- Statutory Regulations
- Manage payroll inputs, validation, and timely payroll processing
- Handle statutory compliance activities including:
- PF
- ESIC
- Gratuity
- Leave & Attendance
- Other applicable labour compliances
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HR MIS reporting
- Support policy implementation, audits, and performance management initiatives
- Draft and manage:
- Employment agreements
- Warning letters
- Legal notices
- Separation documentation
- Coordinate with legal consultants and support labour-related matters where required
- Track labour law updates and recommend policy improvements
- Serve as HR SPOC during night shift operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ 5–15 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations role
✔ Strong hands-on experience in:
- Employee Engagement
- Grievance Handling
- Payroll Operations
- HR Compliance
✔ Good understanding of:
- Indian Labour Laws
- Statutory Compliance
- Employment Documentation
✔ Experience with:
- POSH policy implementation
- POSH training and reporting
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✔ Strong confidentiality, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in Night Shift / US Process environment
- Exposure to employee relations and legal HR matters
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible to support business requirements beyond regular shift when required
