Job Summary: We are looking for a technically competent and organized Project Engineer – Order Management to manage customer orders from contract award through final delivery, with a focus on oil and gas applications. This role ensures all engineering, production, and documentation deliverables are met in accordance with client specifications, international standards (API, ASME, ISO), and project timelines. The position requires cross-functional coordination and regular interface with EPCs, OEMs, and end-users in the upstream, midstream, or downstream sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Execution & Project Management:
- Review and validate customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness (technical specifications, documentation, delivery schedules, etc.).
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and documentation requirements specific to project frameworks.
- Coordinate with internal engineering, supply chain, planning, production, and quality teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time execution.
Technical & Commercial Coordination:
- Interpret and confirm valve specifications, datasheets, MTCs, and customer-specific standards.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific design codes.
- Communicate with customers and EPC contractors for technical clarifications, document approvals, and FAT coordination.
Customer & Stakeholder Interface:
- Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned projects/orders throughout the execution phase.
- Provide real-time updates on progress, engineering changes, and shipping status. Participate in client meetings, inspections (FAT, stage inspections), and audits as required.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Manage and submit complete document packages including ITPs, QAPs, drawings, welding procedures, and test reports in accordance with client DCC formats and deadlines.
- Ensure traceability and documentation for pressure testing, PMI, coating, and material certifications for oil & gas valves.
After-Sales Support:
- Coordinate logistics, packaging, and shipment per INCOTERMS and project logistics plans.
- Support post-delivery technical queries, NCRs, and warranty support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 3 to 5 years of experience in project engineering or order management within the oil & gas valve or industrial equipment sector.
- Deep understanding of oil and gas industry standards, project execution processes, and valve selection criteria.
- Experience in managing international projects or dealing with EPC clients Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office and Engineering Document Control Systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer-handling skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to international oil & gas projects (onshore/offshore).
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection procedures for valve manufacturing.
- Familiarity with International Codes and Standards (API/MESC/ISO, etc)
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
