Job Summary for Furniture Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Furniture Sales Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands furniture trends, and excels in team leadership, business development, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage and maintain store inventory, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product display, and overall store presentation.
- Supervise daily store functions, staff scheduling, and operational compliance.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales performance and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
- Provide personalized consultation to customers on furniture selection and interior styling.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including high-value customers.
- Develop and execute cross-functional tie-ups and strategic partnerships to generate new business leads.
- Build, nurture, and expand relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and other industry professionals to generate business opportunities and referrals.
- Identify and cultivate new channels for lead generation through corporate partnerships, real estate developers, and allied businesses.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in retail management (furniture, home décor, luxury retail, or a similar industry preferred).
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Proven ability to establish and manage professional networks with architects, interior designers, and channel partners.
