The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and infrastructure management.
- Experience in managing and maintaining virtual environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex virtualization issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning within virtualized platforms.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies in virtualized environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
