Job Overview:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Associate to join our finance team. The Accounts Associate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day accounting operations within Cargaison Logistics Express. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
- Perform invoice matching and validate approvals before payment processing.
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Payable aging reports.
- Monitor duplicate invoices and implement controls to prevent duplicate payments.
- Process payments through approved payment methods, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks (as applicable).
- Maintain accurate vendor master records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Requirements:
- A degree in B.Com/M.Com.
- Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
