ALUFAB is seeking a skilled Junior Architect to support its design and execution teams in preparing detailed architectural drawings for façade, aluminium, glazing, and cladding works. The candidate must have a strong grasp of both 2D drafting and 3D modeling with the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical and executable construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D architectural and technical drawings for façade and aluminium systems.
- Develop accurate 3D models, renderings, and presentation drawings for client approvals.
- Work closely with project engineers, site teams, and architects to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
- Revise and update drawings as per site measurements and design changes.
- Coordinate with fabrication and site teams to ensure drawings meet execution needs.
- Maintain drawing documentation, naming protocols, and revision logs.
- Assist in shop drawing and as-built drawing preparation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in façade/glazing/aluminium fabrication industry preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), SketchUp, and basic 3D rendering software (e.g., Lumion, 3ds Max, or Revit).
- Good understanding of architectural and construction details, especially for façades and aluminium systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, if required.
