About Role:

The Financials & Grantmaking Pillar is shaping the future of intelligent nonprofit finance—transforming how social impact organizations manage funds, steward grants, and make data‑driven decisions. We are seeking a domain-focused Product Manager (Individual Contributor) who will lead product strategy and execution across our intelligent finance and grantmaking solutions, including Financial Edge NXT and Blackbaud Grantmaking. This role is ideal for someone passionate about modernizing the nonprofit back office with AI‑powered workflows, predictive insights, and deeply integrated financial and grantmaking capabilities that reduce administrative burden and amplify mission impact.
Key responsibilities:

Define and advance the vision for intelligent finance and grantmaking, aligned to the pillar’s long‑range strategy—AI Everywhere, Network Grant Intelligence, Embedded Finance Monetization, and Nonprofit Accounting as a Service.

Domain Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert, leveraging a strong understanding of Nonprofit Accounting & Grantmaking principles to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive product development by partnering closely with:

Engineering Teams: Write clear user stories, manage the product backlog, participate in Agile ceremonies, and manage the technical delivery lifecycle.

UX/Design Teams: Ensure financial models and features are delivered with a best-in-class, intuitive user experience.

Stakeholders: Facilitate effective string collaboration and communication across sales, operations, and leadership.

Agile Execution: Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration, working effectively within Agile environments.

Experience: 5–9 years of experience in Product Management.

Domain (Mandatory): Proven experience working on or managing products within a Financial Platform.

Core Skills:

Demonstrated expertise working in Agile environments.

Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of successful partnership with Engineering and UX teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

A professional or educational background in Finance & Accounting (e.g., degree, professional certification).

Prior exposure to or excitement about building products that leverage AI/Machine Learning.

Experience in people leadership or mentoring, even if this is an Individual Contributor (IC) role.
