About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring a high standard of product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Review requirements and technical specifications

Create detailed test plans and test cases

Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing

Test web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices
-
Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
-
Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing
-
Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools
-
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Maintain QA documentation, checklists, and testing processes

Track testing progress and report quality metrics
Required Skills

1+ years of hands-on experience in manual/functional software testing

Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing processes

Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans

Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications

Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

Understanding of APIs, client-server architecture, and databases
-
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Knowledge of SQL for data validation

Exposure to performance or usability testing

Understanding of accessibility testing
