Montessori Kindergarten Adult for ages 3–6
Location: The Aalam, a Freedom School, Kalapatti, Coimbatore
Compensation: Based on experience. Not a constraint for the right person.
The Aalam is a Montessori inspired school affiliated to Cambridge International. We are looking for a warm, observant and reflective adult to work in our Montessori Kindergarten environment.
The role involves
- Observing children and offering Montessori presentations based on readiness
- Creating a calm, orderly and engaging environment
- Supporting independence, language, nature exploration and concentration
- Maintaining observation and progress records
- Participating in planning, parent interactions, events and field trips
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree
- Has experience working with young children
- Has Montessori training, preferably AMI or IMTC (preferably)
- Communicates clearly and respectfully
- Is patient, empathetic and open to learning
Experience in an alternative school, storytelling, craft, music, art or digital documentation will be an added advantage.
