1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: o Identify potential customers through market research, networking, and referrals. o Cold calling, email outreach, and attending trade shows to generate new business opportunities. o Oversee and guide a team of sales executives, ensuring they meet their targets and KPIs. o Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members. o Develop and implement sales strategies to drive team performance and achieve company goals. 2. Client Meetings & Consultations: o Meet with potential clients (residential, commercial, or industrial) to understand their energy needs and discuss solar solutions. o Provide consultations and assessments to determine the best solar system configurations. 3. Product Knowledge & Presentation: o Stay up-to-date with the latest solar products, technologies, and industry trends. o Effectively present and demonstrate the benefits and features of solar products to clients. o Allocate leads and resources to sales team members to optimize performance. o Track the team's performance, analyze results, and provide regular updates to upper management. 4. Sales Proposals & Negotiation: o Prepare and present detailed proposals, including system designs, costs, financing options, and timelines. o Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals. o Provide support for team members facing difficulties in closing sales or managing client relationships. 5. Sales Target Achievement: o Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) set by the company. o Track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales progress using CRM systems. o Collaborate with management to forecast sales performance and help set realistic sales targets for the team. 6. Customer Relationship Management: o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals. o Provide post-sale support, answer client questions, and resolve any issues that arise during the installation phase. 7. Collaboration with Technical & Installation Teams: o Work closely with technical teams to ensure that solar system designs meet client needs and comply with regulations. o Work with other departments (e.g., marketing, installation, and customer support) to ensure smooth processes and customer satisfaction. o Coordinate with installation teams to ensure timely and successful project execution. 8. Reporting: o Report sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status to management. o Motivate the team through incentives, recognition, and fostering a competitive yet supportive environment. o Encourage a collaborative atmosphere where team members can share best practices and learn from each other.
