Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing
- Procure materials required for interior projects such as plywood, laminates, veneers, MDF, particle boards, hardware, glass, metal, paints, electrical, and plumbing materials.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved material requisitions.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, budgets, and project requirements.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, discrepancies, and delivery concerns.
Cost Control & Negotiation
- Prepare comparative statements for quotations and vendor evaluations.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
- Monitor market trends and fluctuations in material prices.
- Support value engineering initiatives and cost optimization efforts.
Inventory & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with project teams, stores, production, and site engineers regarding material requirements.
- Track material deliveries and ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
- Coordinate material receipt, inspection, and verification with stores.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, supplier information, and procurement activities.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the Accounts Department for payment processing.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports, purchase summaries, and cost analysis reports.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all procurement transactions.
Interdepartmental Coordination
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, Stores, and Accounts teams.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Support urgent procurement requirements for ongoing projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in the Interior Fit-Out, Construction, Furniture Manufacturing, or Manufacturing Industry.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, furniture hardware, and construction materials.
- Vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement planning.
- Purchase Order management and procurement process knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions
- Office-based role with periodic visits to project sites, warehouses, and supplier locations.
- Frequent coordination with internal departments and external vendors to meet project schedules.
Preferred Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out, Modular Furniture, Commercial Interiors, Construction, or Manufacturing Industry.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
